Dubai Edition of The Wealth Report City Series

Show Media worked in close collaboration with international property experts Knight Frank to produce the Dubai Edition of The Wealth Report City Series.

A supplement to The Wealth Report – Knight Frank’s annual publication on global prime property and investment opportunities – The Wealth Report City Series offers the local perspective on prime property and lifestyle trends, in key markets around the world.

Encompassing market intelligence, lifestyle features and expert advice, the Dubai Edition provides readers with a greater insight into the property market, culture, economy and infrastructure of this rapidly expanding city.

From a review of Dubai’s international dining scene by Restaurant magazine editor Stefan Chomka, to a report on the city’s innovative approach to transport and technological advancements by His Excellency Mohammed Al Shaibani, CEO of the Investment Corporation of Dubai, the publication gives a comprehensive overview of life in the UAE’s most dazzling city.

Expert guidance on immigration, tax and education, coupled with market insights from Knight Frank’s specialist research team, make The Wealth Report City Series Dubai Edition an essential compendium for anyone considering investing in, or relocating to Dubai.

Knight Frank International View

Show Media is pleased to present the latest edition of Knight Frank International View; part glossy magazine, part guide to the world’s finest properties.

This is the third edition of International View that Show has helped to create. Previously we have produced content for Knight Frank’s Private View publication as well as the latest editions of the Dubai and Melbourne Wealth Report.

Show Media was commissioned to curate an editorial front section for International View with stories that would reflect the aspirational, cosmopolitan audience of the publication. The lead feature is an exclusive interview with Donatella Versace on the renaissance of the iconic fashion label and how she’s continuing her brother’s legacy. Elsewhere we explore the secret (yet accessible) locations of popular films; go behind the scenes in Mustique – the island paradise of choice for rock stars and royalty – and discover the new wave of Chinese design talent taking the fashion world by storm.

The Briefing: Property, homes & interiors

Show Media has partnered with Canopy Media to create a new monthly newspaper supplement – The Briefing – which will be distributed with The Guardian on Saturday.

Each edition will focus on a specific theme, covering a range of lifestyle topics, from wellbeing, travel and technology to property, personal finance and education. The content encompasses news, insight, expert opinion and interviews with notable personalities. Clean, modern and image-led design, coupled with a light but authoritative tone of voice, creates an easily digestible publication for an engaging, entertaining and informative weekend read.

The first issue explores the latest trends in the worlds of property, homes and interiors. Hot topics – from building your own home to selling a property online – are condensed into key points and considerations, with pointers on where to find further information about these ideas. There’s also advice from industry experts, interior design inspiration, covetable objects
for the home and an interview with property developer and TV presenter Laura Hamilton.

The Briefing: Property, homes & interiors edition will be available on newsstands, distributed with The Guardian on Saturday 26 May.

Skibo magazine 2018

Show Media has published the 2018 edition of Skibo – the official magazine of The Carnegie Club, an exclusive private members’ club based at the historic Skibo Castle in Scotland.

In this edition, Skibo’s resident archivist Dr Victoria Connor talks about the revival of the castle’s walled garden, beautifully illustrated by Ryn Frank. Nick Smith gives an account of the joys and rituals of feasting, accompanied by mouth-watering original photography by Helen Cathcart. Jeremy Ellwood pens an ode to The Carnegie Links and the newly renovated Clubhouse. David Green surveys Land Rover’s capable fleet of luxury SUVs, and elite fitness and nutrition experts Harry Jameson and James Collins share their health and wellbeing advice.

Elsewhere in the issue, photographer Michael Thomas and stylist David Hawkins collaborate to highlight the high-end accessories that will enhance every occasion, from outdoor pursuits to dressing for dinner. Jemima Wilson uncovers the technological advancements in outerwear that make embracing the great outdoors ever-more appealing, and we explore the enticing array of goods available from the new Skibo Shop.

We also learn about the precious nesting ospreys that have made Skibo their home, as well as the abundance of other wildlife to be discovered on the estate; and explore the ancient Caledonian forest that lies within easy reach of the club, offering a chance to experience the splendour of the Scottish landscape in its wild and natural glory.
