Beau summer style

This Sunday 24 June, SHOW will publish its latest issue of the Beau newspaper, themed around summer City style. It will be distributed with 190,000 copies of The Sunday Times to London and the south-east. Beau is the sibling publication of Brummell magazine, the little black book for City professionals.

Beau’s pages offer a taster of the best of Brummell’s City intelligence, from style, watches and travel to motoring, food and drink.

In this issue, we take a look at Brummell‘s annual ‘Ones to Watch’ listing, celebrating the City’s young rising stars. Also featured is an illustrated guide that gets under the bonnet of Jaguar’s new all-electric car, a round up of the hottest new talent on London’s restaurant scene, and an interview with Tina Warner-Keogh, the former City executive who, along with her husband Tom, is behind gin brand of the summer, Warner Edwards.

Pick up a copy of The Sunday Times this weekend to find out more.

Turnbull & Asser newspaper: Edition One

SHOW is proud to announce the publication of the first edition of the Turnbull & Asser newspaper. SHOW worked with the Jermyn Street shirtmaker on every aspect of the beautiful 24-page paper.

This started with the concept of the publication and extended to its design, a still-life shoot of the brand’s classic products, unique editorial from leading journalists, and a suite of elegant illustrations.

The newspaper is full of enlightening and fascinating stories that have shaped the brand. Stephen Doig visited Turnbull & Asser’s British factories to tell the story of how the brand is made in England; fashion historian Amber Butchart describes the history of neckwear, current owner James Fayed and former managing director Ken Williams talk about the shirtmaker’s long history with New York; Josh Sims breaks down the anatomy of a T&A shirt; Rob Ryan explains why Churchill and James Bond are fans; and Teo van den Broeke experiences the beauty of Turnbull’s bespoke and made-to-measure services.

To bring the newspaper to life, SHOW worked with photographer Mark Sanders and stylist Nathalie Francis on a handsome still life shoot; and with illustrator Joe McKendry on a set of detailed and striking drawings.

The newspaper will be distributed to Turnbull & Asser stores and to customers worldwide.

CBRE Perspectives on London book

SHOW is delighted to present Perspectives on London, a unique charity book project produced on behalf of CBRE to commemorate the 20th anniversary of charity StreetSmart. Every November and December participating restaurants add a voluntary £1 to the bill, which then goes to StreetSmart, who use the donations to support homeless charities.

SHOW edited, designed and produced the commemorative coffee table book, which consists of a series of interviews with 50 influential and inspirational ‘Londoners’ with accompanying portraits and location photography.

The participants come from varied backgrounds and professions, with little ostensibly in common other than their shared love of the city they call home. Among the 50 interviewees who were kind enough to share their stories, memories and hidden gems are actor Timothy Spall, chef Angela Hartnett, comedian Alan Carr, Mercury Prize-winning musician Sampha and Dany Cotton, the first female Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade.

CBRE has committed to donating 100 per cent of the proceeds of Perspective on London to StreetSmart, a very worthy cause which, fittingly, began life in London 20 years ago.
