CBRE Perspectives on London book
SHOW is delighted to present Perspectives on London, a unique charity book project produced on behalf of CBRE to commemorate the 20th anniversary of charity StreetSmart. Every November and December participating restaurants add a voluntary £1 to the bill, which then goes to StreetSmart, who use the donations to support homeless charities.
SHOW edited, designed and produced the commemorative coffee table book, which consists of a series of interviews with 50 influential and inspirational ‘Londoners’ with accompanying portraits and location photography.
The participants come from varied backgrounds and professions, with little ostensibly in common other than their shared love of the city they call home. Among the 50 interviewees who were kind enough to share their stories, memories and hidden gems are actor Timothy Spall, chef Angela Hartnett, comedian Alan Carr, Mercury Prize-winning musician Sampha and Dany Cotton, the first female Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade.
CBRE has committed to donating 100 per cent of the proceeds of Perspective on London to StreetSmart, a very worthy cause which, fittingly, began life in London 20 years ago.
